Engineering leader and software engineer.
Background
I’m a software engineer and engineering leader. I spent ten years in EdTech, joining ScholarPack when it had a few hundred customers and growing from hands-on engineering, product and support to Director of Engineering as we scaled to around 2,000 schools. After ScholarPack merged with Arbor Education, I led the engineering integration and later became Head of Engineering, leading product engineering through significant growth and organisational change. By the time I left in 2025, Arbor was the market leader in school management information systems (MIS) in England.
Since January 2026 I’ve worked independently as a fractional CTO. Most recently I built the technology for a start-up from the ground up with the founder, working across product, design, security and infrastructure.
My current focus is using agentic systems to improve software delivery.
